This is the new concept car from general motors which was unvealed during its centennial celebration on 16 th sep named as GM-VOLT.It is an electric car which runs on lithium baterries.
It has a stunning performance compared with petroleum cars.GM plans for its launch by 2010. Its top speed is 120 m/hr(160 km/hr). It can reach (0-100 km/hr) in just 8.5 sec. For full charge of the battery it requires 6 hours of charging .A fully charged batery can cover adistance of 150 km.Price tag is $30,000....In india it ll be priced 18 lakhs approximately.
