Clash of the Titans - Chelsea Vs ManUtd, Stamford Bridge, 21st Sep

The Blues would be hoping to gain a win against Manchester United tomorrow, that would do a world of good to their bid for Premier League Title as the hosts gear up to defend their unbeaten run at The Stamford Bridge. Chelsea have been unbeaten at home for 84 matches and their last defeat at home dates back to 2005.

The Red Devils on the other hand have had a scratchy kick off to premier league this season so far. And they would be hoping for a moral boosting win against their title rivals to get their season back on track after securing just 4 points from 3 matches including a defeat against Rafa Benitez's Liverpool last week. Their Champions league start has not been their best too as Sir Alex Ferguson's men could only hold on to a draw against Villareal on Wednesday.

Comparing the sides, Chelsea seem to be strong at the moment with the momentum they carry on as the side has been doing quite well in both BPL and UEFA Champions League just dropping 2 points in the draw against Tottenham at home. Striker Didier Drogba and midfielder Ballack are all set to return to the side providing them the edge.

Whereas Ferguson is still facing problems with his side as star winger Cristiano Ronaldo and their expensive signing of the season Dimitar Berbatov both doubtful for the game and Nemanja Vidic facing a ban after the Red card against Liverpool. Ronaldo has just made a comeback after the major ankle surgery he underwent 2 months back as a substitute and was on the field for jus 30 mins. The ManU fans would be expecting Ron to get back to his form as his 42 goals last season helped the Red Devils to win the title.

Amidst all the hype, both the Managers have launched verbal attack against each other. Fergie has rated the rivalry with Arsenal to be more important than with Chelsea whereas Scolari has announced that he would wish to sign Ronaldo if he is in an idea to leave ManU. Chelsea are 6 points ahead of Man U now and a win would mean 9 points trail for the defending champions. A win for ManU is likely to place them with just 3 points to behind the top team.

So for all football lovers, here is the Clash of the Titans coming up on Super Sunday as the teams fight it out for the vital 3 points. A fierce battle is on cards….

Don miss it!!!
