Bad Light saved Oz

Yesterday was the thrilling final day of the first test match in a four match series. The Australians continued their second innings from 193 for 5. They declared when their score reached 228 for 6,thereby setting a target of 299 for Indians. A foolish decision to declare at that stage. They underestimated Indians. But it is well known fact that over confidence will never pay.
Though Indians lost two early wickets, they played steadily.Sachin played a good innings and scored 49. Laxman scored 42 and he was there at the crease till the end. When Indian lost 4 wickets, bad light stopped the play. Indians were in a good position and they would have won the match.Match was declared as a draw and bad light saved Australians.
